Christmas LetterDear Santa,First off, I would like one of those music boxes that use paper tape music for Christmas. I was going to tell you about what I've done this year, but your reindeer workers probably know all that. Then that made me think of how much mail you get, and I want to know how do you read it all? I know that government ponies have secretaries that read their mail for them, and write down what you want to vote for, so I think maybe you do something like that. Thankyou for doing the Christmas thing every year. You look nice on my Christmas card.Scincerely (Rarity told me that was a right word), Sweetie Belle.Pea ess Rarity is my big sister.---Dear Sweetie Belle,My name is Darcy, and I'm the mail unit manager at the North Pole. To answer your question Santa doesn't read most of the mail. It's usually the same types of things (the most common being a present request), so a group of reindeer sort it into categories based on those types, and then there is a reindeer for each type to
wonderwoman's obscure powersAfter scouring the internet, I got a pretty good idea of the popular wonderwoman. After watching the first episode, I discovered some rather unmentioned powers of hers.Ability to instantly predict future cumbersomeness of garments.Change outfits without explosion (takes longer).Lasso does not require tying as it completely debilitates the captive once looped twice.Completely avoid physical consequences of emotional embarrassment.Land a plane just about anywhere.Predict her power limits with supreme accuracy.Infinitely flexible vocal impersonation.
A Visitor, part 1Part 1: The ArrivalTwilight Sparkle did not know how long she had been lying on that cloud, and had no idea how to get off: she was immobilized. Whether by magic or science she did not know, but she was getting more and more anxious. She was very groggy, and could barely move (though this was not because of any pain). She could hear quite a commotion below her (or at least she was pretty sure which way was down); she even occasionally heard her name being called. Since she did not know where the cloud's edge was, whether or not the cloud was thinner around her than under her, or how high up she was, she decided not to try and roll over for a better view. What she did know was that she had just left Sweet Acres after having lunch with AJ and Pinky and was heading to do some careful exploration of the Castle of the Two Sisters when something hit her. She had felt a sharp prick of pain at her side, but when she turned to look she lost her balance and then all her other senses as well. Re
The Christmas Story as I know itFirst off, Mary was a virgin, and she was pledged to marry Joseph. An angel appeared to her and said she would give birth to Jesus, the Saviour, though she had not slept with anyone. This is the apparent time of conception. Meanwhile, in Babylon during the month of September, 3 BC (evidenced to be the same time as the above visitation), magi (wise men; scholars) watched as retrograde motion caused Jupiter to appear to circle around the star Regulus (meaning king), making three close approaches. This circling also happened within the defined area of the constellation Leo, significant because the tribe of Juda (the tribe that Jesus came from as prophesied) is symbolized by a lion. Even more astounding is that at the third close approach, continuing into the morning, the sun is in the middle of the constellation Virgo (meaning virgin), and the moon is at her feet, all three following Jupiter up into the sky. This mirrors "a virgin clothed with the sun with the moon at her feet," a scene f
Canon and History for Sticks + StonesSo, I intend here to give a strict definition of how this comic is now oriented, and maybe include some history facts.First, I think I will tell how it started: Saxon Algebra 1/2 homework. After I'd finished, I started drawing little round characters with hands, feet, and antennae, doing various somewhat absurd things. After the first time my mom said she liked it, so I kept doing it for a while of and on. They became standardized and I started trying to include every character on every page. They were the big brother, the sister (now Mary), the younger brother (athletic), and the smallest brother (now Dan, always has a snorkel and mask). Later appearing was the villian, who now appears as Sienen. The big brother mainly was there to the thwart the villian, who was mainly there to try and hurt the three others or steal something. After I standardized this, I drew some monopanels on small slips of paper one night, and then drew some more the next few days. I called them Doodlebugs at th
